Detroit, MI - MIssion.31 creates new initiative, Project S.E.R.V.E, to promote solidarity among Metro-Detroit organizations and small businesses, while providing a space to give back to the city and surrounding neighborhoods.
Project S.E.R.V.E's mission is to SHIFT the culture, ENGAGE with one another, RESTORE values, VITALIZE neighborhoods and EMPOWER the generation. Fellow non-profit organizations and local businesses across the metropolitan Detroit area, will gather March 25, 2017 for a day of community service projects during the morning, and a group lunch following.
"We were inspired by the Make a Difference Day, our Alma Mater hosted yearly in the fall. This was a time for student organizations to connect and serve the Greater Grand Rapids area,, so we thought it was a good idea to reinvent it and bring it to the city.", says Erikka Simpson. the Chief Optimization Officer. The purpose of the Project S.E.R.V.E. initiative is to promote unity among Metro-Detroit organizations, while providing a space for these organizations to give back to the city and surrounding neighborhoods.
