Project S.E.R.V.E

The purpose of our Project S.E.R.V.E. initiative is to promote unity among Metro-Detroit organizations, while providing a space for these organizations to give back to the city and surrounding neighborhoods. The acronym S.E.R.V.E. represents our target goals for this project, which are to: Shift the Culture, Engage with one another, Restore values, Vitalize our neighborhoods, and Empower our generation.

MENSTRUATION PROJECT:

The Menstruation Bag Project, was created in partnership of the Rai Way, is a program that provides products, resources, and support to adolescent females by way of education institutions to promote proper hygiene and healthy menstrual cycles. As a compliment to the Project, I partner with local elementary middle and high schools to host Menstrual, Oral, Physical, and Hygiene Program (M.Or.P.H). M.Or.P.H encompasses the topics listed in a one hour interactive seminar style presentation. Topics include Menstrual Anatomy, How a Period Works, Keeping clean on your period, ending with a Q&A.  For more information on the Menstruation Project, contact Erikka at erikka@missionthirtyone.org.

DAY OF SERVice:

Fellow non-profit organizations and local businesses across the metropolitan Detroit area will participate in various community service projects during the morning, and come together for lunch and a motivational speech.
